Schenk Guitar - Rod Schenk burst onto the acoustic guitar scene a few years ago and found his way to Wintergrass two years ago. Not one to be shy, he jumped in at the deep end with an extremely generous donation of one of his gorgeous guitars. This year he donated a mandolin and a guitar! We’re grateful for his unbridled enthusiasm, stunned at his gorgeous work and grateful for his friendship and support.

D’Addario Foundation - Wintergrass is deeply grateful to be a recipient of the support of the D’Addario Foundation. This family-run business has a multi-generational commitment to music and musicians that expresses itself in thoughtful generosity. Wintergrass never turns away anyone who wants to participate in the Youth Academy because the D’Addario Foundation makes that possible. In addition every student receives a great pile of goodies that include strings, polishing cloths, picks and all kinds of other stuff that make every kid feel like a real musician. Thank you.

Martin Guitar - If haven’t had your guitar strings changed by Larry Barnwell, you haven’t really had the complete Wintergrass experience just yet. One of our earliest sponsors, Martin Guitar has provided a gorgeous, personalized Martin Guitar to the festival for years. Larry shows off the instrument and changes your strings at the Dusty Strings booth every year. That kind of loyalty and that kind of support is rare and wonderful and we are deeply appreciative of it.

Nechville Musical Products - Tom Nechvile is an innovator in the world of banjos. Tom has spent years in development and in consultation with the world’s top players researching and finding ways to meet the needs of professionals. His experience has led to the refinement of the electric banjo, which has re-directed a new world-wide spotlight on the banjo

Rayco - Our friends north of the border make a mighty fine instrument. Along with Martin Guitar Mark and his crew are among our most loyal and longstanding supporters. Their cheerful enthusiasm always attracts some great jamming around their booth. We thank them for their fine craftsmanship, lovely smiles and fantastic music. We’re sure you agree, eh?

This family owned business has long supported live music and we’re proud to welcome them to our family of sponsors. The brother/sister team of Phil and Elizabeth are taking the festival world by storm. Providing good insurance services might not seem like the sexiest thing in the world, but boy, when you need to get through a pile of complicated requirements and make sure everyone is safe, it’s phenomenal to have people like them on your team. We kinda love them a lot.

Orvis - It’s always a good thing to have great neighbors. When Wintergrass moved into the neighborhood we found a fantastic neighbor in Reggie Harris and the Orvis shop just around the corner. Providers of great outdoor wear and fishing gear, it turns out they also love bluegrass. In addition to their fine support of the festival, the Orvis store is also host to bluegrass concerts during the festival and throughout the year.

PSAV - Who knew coming to the big city would be so much fun? The crew at PSAV has actually made staging and lighting support fun. We love working with them and are astonished at their generosity in the details and their willingness to think creatively with us.

The Event Company - Have we mentioned passion yet? Gary and Cheryl Loeser are either crazy or they are the embodiment of passion. They live in Louisville, KY, but that didn’t stop them from helping us to re-imagine the festival and help to create a stunning remake of the Grand Ballroom in 2011. They love what they do. So do we.
